Television producer Phoebe gets into Ashade's taxi. At first glance, the businesswoman and the Arab-American taxi driver seem to have nothing in common. They come from different worlds. But when the conversation turns to Ashade's brother, who is facing deportation as a terror suspect, Phoebe suddenly shows interest and compassion. She willingly offers her help. Ashade's initial joy at the unexpected offer of help quickly fades, because something isn't quite right with the cool businesswoman. Within just one day, Ashade's life is thrown completely into disarray by a series of events.
