And that's exactly what Robert Greenwald, who has already developed documentaries on topics such as the war in Iraq and Rupert Murdoch's media empire, achieves. Greenwald takes on a subject here that was previously relatively unknown. He succeeds in exposing the juggernaut that is Walmart and showing the devastating impact such giants have on small communities – and how its workers are continually exploited. This is counteracted by footage of a Walmart event where one of the executives raves about the company's great achievements. Conclusion: An interesting topic.
